Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is a Mexican American performer, singer and actress. Sara Ramirez was raised by an American mother, and encountered a number of racial slurs and made her feel unwelcome. After she participated in an event at school and was given the highest praise for her singing at the age of 9 the young girl started to grow more confident. She not only gained confidence because of the experience and gained experience, but also changed her career goals. At the age of 22, she graduated from the New York's Julliard School. In the year 23 she began her career making her debut on Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films featuring You've Got Mail. Her greatest break came in her role as The Lady of The Lake, in the original Broadway version of Spamalot. The show won her the Tony Award and received great praise for the role. She gained more recognition for her appearance on Grey's Anatomy on ABC as Dr. Callie Torres. She is also a known performer and has released an extended play. In addition, she's an activist who fights in the fight for LGBT rights.
