Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model and animal rights advocate in the US. Ali MacGraw is famous for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. Born and raised in an artistic family located in New York she wished to be a part of the arts. Her first job was as a photographer's assistant and then moved on to modeling and acting. Her name was highlighted in two of her films and received Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. MacGraw quickly became famous following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was nominated for one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films, MacGraw was named the top female box-office start in the world. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater recorded her signature with handprints, foot prints and handprints in the year 1972. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she was also in the TV series The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, came out. MacGraw was married three times.
