Annie Mist Thorisdottir of Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit Athlete. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she coaches athletes. Annie has the distinction of being only one woman in history to have won at the CrossFit Games two times. Her second place finish was at the 2010. CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelandic weightlifter, is also an avid CrossFit athlete as well as a popular media personality. Her fame has been built on being the only woman ever to win the two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, and in 2017 she took home the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born and raised in Reykjavik, Iceland together with her parents and siblings. When she was a kid, she was always a enthusiast of fitness and sports. She participated in many school events and earned several medals. Her first participation was time in 2009 in CrossFit Games held in California in which she performed very well. She was able to perform very well in the initial games. She finished amongst top 10 of over 70. But she did not achieve any championships and finished her tournament in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. With the guidance of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded a Silver medal that same year. After one year full of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant performances brought her the honor of being named. Annie was a winner, having outstanding 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first female to have won both CrossFit Games. She also received a medal of silver in 2014 as well as a medal of bronze in CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie trains and coaches in Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her idea. Annie is getting fame for her athletic abilities has been featured in commercials for athletic products, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration's sidekick Yerbae Renewal Periodization Transparent Labs, among other.
