Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. The owner is of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it also. Annie became the very first woman ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. Annie was second at the both the 2010 and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit athlete weightlifter as well as a media star. Her fame was boosted by her being the first woman to have taken home two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. Her other achievements include securing Dubai Fitness Championships in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie was born and raised in Reykjavik, Iceland along with her parents and siblings. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The same year, under Jami's direction, she was awarded the gold medal at the CrossFit Games. In the following year she was a participant with Jami Tikkanen in CrossFit Games and won them thanks to her outstanding performance. She was the first woman to take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. Annie's exceptional performance in 2012 helped to her a third CrossFit Games victory. This was her second time that she had won consecutively. She also took home a gold. And in 2021, she was awarded a bronze. Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. As she has gained more recognition as an athlete, Annie is a model for a number of brands in sports, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae among many other brands. She also has her own Youtube channel, which is called "Annie" and has more than 1000 viewers. It is the channel the channel where she posts videos on the diet of her training, life with family as well as travel.
