Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kimberly Schmid lived in Vietnam having Chinese ancestry while Winston Barrett Munn's family is roots that go back to the American South. Olivia was only 2 when her parents separated. She was raised by both her mother and stepfather who was also a United States Air Force member. Olivia was raised at Tokyo and Japan. Even though the family moved out of Oklahoma to many other places but it was it in Tokyo where she got the bulk of her education. During that time she took part in numerous performances of the local theater, and went on to become a Japanese Fashion Model. Olivia returned her home to Los Angeles after the family's return to the United States. She pursued her dream of being an actress. Olivia's professional career started to take off after just a couple of small roles. She landed the part of Mily in Hawaii-lensed television series Beyond the Break (2005) and the receptionist role in the film Big Stan starring Rob Schneider in Big Stan (2006). She is the host of "The Daily Nut" and"Formula D," the "Formula D" podcasts on G4. It is her favorite pastime to surf, and she is still practicing after the television series Beyond the Break (2006). Additionally, she has earned a black belt for taekwondo. She was only two when her mother got married again however this time to an US Air Force member. Her family was primarily from Tokyo, Japan where her stepfather worked. Attended the University of Oklahoma, where she studied journalism, and minored in Japanese and drama arts.
