Pooja was born 13 October 1990 in Mumbai Maharashtra in India. She has been an Indian Film Actress and Model well-known for her work in movies including Tamil Telugu and Hindi. Her personal life began as a child in the family of Hindu parents Manjunath (the father) and Latha (the mother). There is a sister named Rishabh Hegde. Pooja belongs to a clan who is mostly of Udupi. Pooja is able to speak Hindi as well as Tamil Telugu Kannada & English. Pooja started her modeling career because she was captivated by fashion and models when she was a child. The first time she began modeling was when she was still studying. The year 2010 was the time she was second-placed in her Miss Universe India competition. She then focused her efforts to make filmmaking. In order to get break-in films she met several southern filmmakers and Mughmodo was the very first film to be a part of her career. Mughmodo became her debut film after approaching various South-based film makers. Oka Laila Kosam which was a film she was offered the chance to appear in, was her next offer. She then received several film opportunities, and was featured in several films from south India. Her debut film was directed by Ashutosh Gourvarikar. Bollywood film, Mohanjo Dara in 2016, with Hrithik Rohan was in the lead role. After the huge success of the movie, she returned to Telugu. Her debut films included a couple of Telugu films after her Bollywood debut, such as Saakshyam Arvinda Sametha Venera Raghava (Maharshi) and Saakshyam. Each of her films were profitable at the box-office She also appeared in Bollywood movie Housefull 4
