Hayley Orantia is an American actor, musician and performer. Most people recognise her character Erica Goldberg in the comedy television show 'The Goldbergs'. She is to be primarily an artist. According to her, is first thing she is passionate about. She started playing with it when she was nine years old. She began training in the field of music professionally at 12. After experimenting with songwriting, she only recorded her album of music covers when she was fourteen. And the rest is history. Orrantia is a native of the USA but she is a native of the United States with Hispanic origins. Although she never lived or spoke Spanish in Mexico, she still feels strongly proud of her Hispanic culture. She strives to maintain it through studying Spanish as well as writing songs using the Spanish language. One such song is "Hasta Verte," which she recorded in Spanish. Orrantia was chosen to be an audition for the first season in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of The X Factor after she submitted a YouTube recording of her audition. The judge gave her the four "yes" votes of the judge in the live stage show in Seattle. She originally auditioned solo, but during the "Hollywood Week" she was paired along with three female vocalists in a trio for remaining auditions. They were eliminated from the show in the fifth week of live performances.
